16) Controverisal Passage 2, Explantion and Citation

"Harry walked more quickly. He was going to smash right into the barrier and the hed be in trouble- leaning foward on his cart he borke into a heavy run- the barrier was coming nearer and nearer- he wouldnt be able to stop- the cart was out of control- he was a foot away- he closed his eyes ready for he crash- It didnt come... he kept on running... he opened his eyes. A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, eleven o'clock."

This quote can be extremely controversial in several different ways. It shows the magic of Harry Potter but it also shows that it does not exist now days. The fact that Harry was able to run right through a barrier that the humans could not see at all was very exciting but not realistic. I could see where some readers would take this offensive if they did not believe in these things. Even though this book has been very magical and interesting to read, I could see where parts much like this one could be controversial.
